A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. This page sets out which cookies this website uses, what each one is for, and how to refuse or remove them.

Cookies this site needs to work

These cookies keep your basket and your session. Without them the shop cannot remember what you put in the cart between one page and the next, and you cannot check out. They hold an identifier for your basket and your delivery choice. They are not used to advertise to you and they are not shared.

This site also stores your cart in your browser's local storage, which works like a cookie and stays on your own device. Clearing your browser data empties it.

Cookies that measure how the site is used

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read, so we can fix the pages that are not working. It sets cookies that record a randomly generated identifier for your browser, which pages you looked at and roughly where in the world you are. We do not use it to identify you by name, and we do not sell what it collects.

Cookies set by payment providers

When you pay, our payment providers set their own cookies to process the payment and to detect fraud. We do not control those cookies and we never see your full card number: the card details are handled by the payment provider, not by this website.

How to refuse or remove cookies

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings, then Privacy. If you block the cookies this site needs to work, you can still read the site but the basket and the checkout will not function. Blocking the measurement cookies has no effect on your ability to shop.

Your rights

Information collected through cookies that can identify you is personal information under the Privacy Act 2020, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it, including your right to ask for a copy or a correction. The regulator is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Changes

If we start using a cookie for something new, we will change this page before we do.
