It is a processed fibre rather than a raw plant fibre, which is worth saying plainly, and it is soft, absorbent and it drapes well. The eco argument for bamboo is about how the plant grows: quickly, without much water and generally without pesticides.\n\nFit before finish\n\nA protector that does not fit comes off in the night and then it is decorative. Measure the depth of the mattress, not the height of the bed. The pockets here take a deep mattress, but there is a limit and going over it is the commonest reason a protector fails to stay on.",
